Anyone else convicted that they probably need to cut out some blue light time lately?! 😳 It’s hard homeschooling, running a business, and being an avid researcher to avoid it.
Did you know blue light blue light passes through the cornea and lens and reaches the retina? This light may affect vision and could prematurely age the eyes. Digital eye strain and retina damage can occur from it. Artificial light is everywhere these days from our digital devices, TVs, Computers, fluorescent and LED lighting.
Let’s talk about five ways to combat blue light stress in your body.
🔹Blue light glasses. Blue light glasses are pretty much available everywhere now. They are increasingly popular and we use them in our family for everyone when looking at blue light. 🔹Decrease your phone, computer, and TV use two hours leading up to bedtime. Doing this will also help you sleep better. Bluelight actually suppresses your melatonin production. Melatonin = sleep hormone.
