My mom always encouraged us to create things and learn even if it meant making a mess or that batch of cookies taking an hour to prep instead of 20 minutes. My dad always working his hardest to provide a better life for us than he had for him. I learned so much from my parents about life, love and parenting. Good things and bad things.
We usually kept to our little family aside from getting together with family a couple times a year, and now that we have our own family we are the same – we enjoy our space and our own family time.
Nine years ago, I met Ryan and it all started with an Einsteins Honey Whole Wheat bagel with honey butter. I should have known then that he was it but it wasn’t until the fall of 2005 that I really got twitterpated over him and our love story didn’t officially start until March 2006 when we had our first date & our ten month long distant relationship started. Which evolved me packing up my whole life into a horse trailer in the biggest winter storm in years to start my life with Ryan. We’ve had to work hard at this life together but it’s all been worth it and we are stronger because of it. We are now blessed with a beautiful marriage.
Last year we welcomed our sweet daughter, A, into the world and our world changed in ways we never fathomed and a love I never knew existed I discovered.
I could go on and on but really I’m going to close in just summing up who I am because of where I’m from.
I’m just a laid back, small town girl who lives in the city; who’s creative, a little bit messy, and is blessed beyond words. A girl that is absolutely smitten with two people – my husband Ryan and our daughter, A. Someone who takes experiences and learns from them, can count those she trusts on one hand, and would do anything for those people and consider them a part of our family. A gal who loves the open sky on darkest of nights where the stars are endless, and frequently thinks about getting rid of her cell phone.
