Happy Mardi Gras!
While some of you might be taking off your shirts today for Mardi Gras (please tell me you aren’t), I want to take a minute to talk to you about some fab shirts, and jewelry you should be putting on.
If you know me, you know that this is the perfect shirt for me. I love supporting handmade indie businesses, it creates change on so many levels and I love, love love it.
So when I got this shirt from Krmbal I was beyond excited, plus I was even more excited because it’s Eco-friendly and proceeds of purchases from her shop go to Krmbal is an eco-conscious apparel brand. Tessa, the owner creates designs and prints on organic cotton from a supplier that has been not only organic-certified, but also 3rd-party tested in its sustainability claims, which she purchase through a local wholesaler. In effort to support small business even further she utilize another local small business to print her shirts. But she doesn’t just send it straight to the printer and wait..she often is on-press at the printer while her products are printing and knows her printer has certified in their procedures.
Tessa’s passion radiates and goes one step further because a portion of each sale goes to help green entrepreneurs build their businesses all over the world, through Kiva loans. How awesome is that? This shop is sooo full of heart and passion for small business all over the world and cares about the environment. All of her packaging is recycled too!
See that beautiful necklace? That’s from the wonderful shop This Enchanted Pixie out of the U.K. The shop is ran by Polly who creates from her heart, pulls inspiration from nature. All of her products are created with love, and at an affordable price that is accessible for all. There are so many beautiful handmade, bohemian pieces for the free spirited and there is truly something for everyone in her shop. Her eye for color combinations is flawless. All of her pieces are absolutely stunning and beautifully put together.
The earrings and bracelet are from Whispering Sweet Nothings, which I raved about – here.
