A Rant: Treat Others Right Dammit.

What happened to the old saying
“Treat Other’s How YOU Want to be Treated?”
Cliche maybe but I’ve really just gotta get this out there.
I’ve never been a victim of blog bullying/cyber bullying …
Not on this blog anyways.
And I’m grateful for that.
But, other blogs that I follow and some that I have become friends with – haven’t been so lucky and it annoys the living daylights out of me!

Although I’m a Taurus, I’m what you could probably call a gentle spirit
{most of the time anyways unless you really push me as far as possible}
The biggest thing – I hate conflict, and I’m not a fan of being rude, and hurting feelings.
But, others obviously don’t feel that way and honestly – I don’t understand it.
Who is someone to go and leave comments or write a bashing post linking to that other blog?
What satisfaction can you possibly get?
The ones that irk me the most are the cowards that leave the “anonymous” comments – give me a break people.  If you are going to be a jerk – own up to it.
Can someone get really that upset about someone happy marriage or desperate need for disability for a legitimate reason?  How is that anyone else’s business anyways?!
Can that really make you feel that much better to do everything you can to be hurtful and hateful to another person?
Can you really be that insecure about your life that you have to try and make other feel like crap?
Most of the time we don’t actually know the people outside of the blog they right – maybe that makes it easier to be harsh – but I’m still not sure it makes it right.
Lets be honest – this has nothing to do with my blog – I get that.  I’ve been fortunate.
But frankly – I’m tired of seeing lately all of the posts about people who have been bullied.
I’m not tired that they posted it – I’m tired that someone bullied them.
So how about this – this is bold but I think it’s a safe thing to post because I think I know my followers well enough to know I’m not going to lose anyone – BUT –
IF you are someone that gets your kicks off of bullying someone else, hiding behind your computer because you don’t have to actually confront someone click the unfollow button right now.
Maybe this seems harsh – but enough is enough, and I’m not going to allow anyone who does cyber bully around this followers list.
OK?
OK.
Enough of this rant.
In A Happy Positive Light:
Yes – I have new design stuff going on around here. Yes, my hair color is different like you can see! 🙂
In other news – go read & Barb’s new post on a hot new blog – it’s her first post – show her some love here
Have a Lovely Wednesday! 🙂

First of all Kristina, I love your new hair colour, and your new header! I couldn’t agree with you more on this particular post. These people must be sick in some way, if they have to get their kicks like that. It must be awful for a blogger if you get these dreadful comments on your blog. I’m relieved to say that I’ve never come across this, and I hope I never will. Good post my friend.

You look like Lindsay Lohan’s younger, prettier and nicer sister, Kristina! (LOL) I have a YouTube account and it always amazes me to read the ugly, trashy, vulgar comments that people leave on that site. If those people would only realize that they can actually feel better by being nice to people rather than by being hateful maybe they’d give it a try.

I already read Barb’s guest post. It’s nice to see you supporting her efforts as well, dear friend!

Kristina…this post means an awful lot to me for a few reasons! Thank you! Well said and it is kind of sickening isn’t it? Thank you so much for the shout out on my article. Let’s hope it continues. I absolutely love your hair. I’m thinking of something different myself. Time for change all around for me I guess. You are as beautiful outside as you are inside!! Hugs and Love Sweetie.

This post is so wonderful and to the point. I cannot understand these people either. Their lives must be so miserable that they think it will make them feel better to hurt others. I pray they will open their eyes and see the harm they do.
