Alrighty, for those of you who haven’t seen the post from this morning, I won the Versatile Award from Bouncin’ Barb and then passed it on to littlesilkdress and vintch. Little did I know that I needed to post a whopping 7 facts about me that you guys most likely have no clue about. (this means you too littlesilkdress and vintch!) 🙂
So, lets get this going…
1. I only wear black sock and black shoes (or dark brown shoes- on a rare occasion).
2. I had heart surgery at 14 months because I had an anomalous origin of my left coronary artery (aka the left side of my heart was the size of an adults at 14 months because my coronary artery was hooked to my pulmonary artery instead of my aorta) so they put a tunnel through my heart, and I still have a mitro-valve leakage & a murmur, but that’s something someone can definitely live with.
3. I absolutely fell in love with swimming with the dolphins we were on our honeymoon – I can’t wait to do it again someday!
4. My favorite feeling in the world is when a random moment happens, a simple word spoken, a look or just moment in time with my husband that makes my heart dance a bit and I fall in love with him all over again.
5. I enjoy the simple laid back evenings where there is no rush to be anywhere, no pressing ‘to-do’s’ so it’s a feeling of relax in our home – quiet, with snuggling and laughter – these are the best kind of evenings.
6. I don’t drink pop at all – ever. I drink tea and water, and on a very rare occasion I’ll have a cup of coffee.
7. I’m an artist – when I choose to be. I paint, I take photographs, I draw but very rarely do I allow a piece to go up in our house outside of photography, or really show people in general.

These are interesting tidbits. You are on the right track by avoiding soda pop and drinking water and tea. They are much healthier choices. Like you I love days when I don’t have anything planned and you’ll never hear me say the word “bored” because there are so many fascinating things to explore and people to meet. Random moments are the greatest, especially random acts of kindness and random gestures of love. Thank you for revealing these interesting facts about yourself!
Congrats on your award! I really don’t understand blog awards at all! It is so confusing to me! But I am glad that you got it! I love these facts! Very you!
It was really good to read those things about you. I love days when nothing is planned. ThaT must have been very worrying for your parents when you were a little baby.
Great list!! Glad everything turned out well with your heart surgery. That had to be tough for your parents. Bruce and I are huge dolphin fans and we see them regularly since we live on the coast of SC. They are beautiful!!
I loved learning about you!
I just found your blog on one of the Monday blog hops. Have a great week!

Numbers 4 and 5 are my favorite – and I agree with them.
