Establishment

The feeling of establishment is an awesome one! That is for sure! My house is unpacked, we are settled in. Wyatt now has a back yard to run and play in, and the cats, all have their space from one another! Everyone has their space, but yet its cozy enough that you feel at home. We have the photos hung on the walls, knick-knacks in their new places and happiness and love fills the home the way its supposed to.

I had my open house today for school, got my things. The anxiety that I once had subsided, and my excitement began to emerge. Thank goodness. I got my lotions and salts, and all of the fun stuff and my shirts. I order my table on the first day. That is when the real excitement begins! :)Then 7 months from then, that is when my life really begins to happen! ๐Ÿ™‚

I also got a job today! My hours are unclear which is a tad bit unsettling but it will work out. I went in to the interview, the gentleman was super excited, wanted me to start tomorrow but with a 48 hour work week! Ugh! With work and school thats nearly 70 hours! I need money, but that sounds like a little much! Plus, I was not going to get paid much for ALL of that work..and never any free time. But, instead he called and offered me another position. Starting out at 4 hours a week, BUT he is going to market me to the sister companies for me to do activities! Arts and crafts and all of that!! I’m pretty excited about that! I think that it just might be a job that I can enjoy! Something that will encourage me to be creative at home too! Get those creative juices pumping!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

I sat down with my sketch book the other day for the first time in a long time, and began to sketch. Sketch out new ideas to paint. I had motivation for the first time in forever. It just simply came to me, and so I stopped what I was doing, sat down and sketched them all out. I simply placed it in my new side table that has a hidden door just to ponder it and see what ideas stuck and which ones just began to fade. None of them began to fade, only began to nag me more and more! So today I decided to be persistent and look for the canvases that are packed away in our new basement. I put the base color down and will start to paint more of them tomorrow. I am going to take my time on these. See how patience comes into play and maybe if I take things one step at a time, they will turn out better to my expectations and I will be more satisfied.
