We love bath time around here. It’s a great time to get clean but also have some extra fun inside. Sometimes bath time acts as a giant reset button around here. Bad attitudes we just cannot shake? It’s time for an extra bath.
I’ll admit that I’m pretty picky about the bath toys we bring into our house, almost as picky as the bath products we bring into our home. I want toys that are quality and won’t end up moldy and gross in places we can’t get clean. Those squishy plastic squirt toys? We are super picky about the plastic and then hot glue the squirt hole shut so water can’t cause them to mold inside.
Honestly, I just prefer to have good quality toys they can have fun with that I can run Thieves cleaner through occasionally to make sure they are safe and clean. Recently I had the opportunity, thanks to TOMY, to try out their new Toomie’s Bath Pirate Ship bath. It’s a durable plastic that can be cleaned. In addition, there is no where that water can be harbored in the boat! That was the first win in my book.
Then it was time to test it out. How else do you test it out other than stick it in the bath with the kids and see how much they love it, right?! That’s exactly what I did. After a couple days of rain here, the cranky attitudes needed a refresh so in the kids went to the bath and in went a brand new Toomies toy!
The Pirate Bath Ship is so much fun!! The Octopus squirts water in any direction you choose and if you plunge the boat into the water a bit you can get it to shoot water out of the cannon and splash off the water wheel. There so much room for imaginative play with this set.
The extra little boat is a lot of fun to play with too. The Pirate can play in the big boat throughout the main portions and up in the lookout, or sail away in the little orange boat. The orange boat can be stored on the boat with easy sailing and then tipped off the edge to set sail in the water.
The Toomies Pirate Bath Ship is rated for ages 18m+ but all three of our kids loved it. It’s a fun, safe toys that allows their imaginations to run wild. You can grab yours at your local Target retailer. This is a toy that I can say with confidence we would purchase again in the future as a gift!
Tell me: do you love bath time at your house? What are your favorite toys?
