The second weekend in April we took a trip to the local Botanical Gardens. Ryan and I have gone in the past during the summertime and it’s absolutely gorgeous, you are surrounded by so much beauty. This year we visited a little bit early, as there wasn’t nearly as many things in bloom, but it was cool and breezy at 75* so that was definitely a perk of going when we did. It was so much more enjoyable than in the heat of the summer. Although there wasn’t quite as many plants and flowers lush, green and/or colorful there were still so many beautiful things to see. It was a fantastic outting for all of that we all enjoyed.

A spent the first have of the visit strolling around in her stroller but since it wasn’t very busy we let her out mid-way through our trip and she had a blast running around and bending over smelling the flowers.  She wanted to get a bit wild since she got a taste of freedom running down the paths but any time she would drift off a bit she would instantly turn around and make sure we were close, that was a relieving thing to see.

Ryan and I got to also enjoy getting some good use of our camera and snap some beautiful shots. We’ve only had the camera for a couple of months and I have no idea how we lived without one for so long. Well worth the investment to better capture our life that seems to so quickly fly past us these days!

We had a very good time on this family outing and hope that we get back there again this summer and for the years to come.
