Soon enough I received my first box of bows from Shirley. A box larger than I expected and I opened it up to tissue paper upon tissue paper carefully cradling this beautiful bow:
It was carefully wrapped and protected with plastic and it’s loops (formally known as the Petals – like a flower) gently stuffed with tissue to made sure they held their shape. It’s was beautifully done, and it even came with a letter telling me about the care and ability for shaping my bow.
It didn’t end there though.
I also received a free “accessory” bow in my box – a smaller, perfect for a little package.
And perfect for those like me who are less than fab at wrapping. See!
Firstly, I would just like to thank Kristina for the opportunity to share a bit of my story here on the
A beautiful, sad story. You touched a lot of lives today, Shirley. Thanks so much for sharing your heart.
I was so glad for the opportunity to share my story here at the Streeter’s blog. Today is my Pap Pap’s (my grandpa’s) birthday – he passed away two years ago to be reunited with my Granny, above. Kristina didn’t know this when she decided to post this today. It was super special to me, and I will admit a few sad tears and a few happy ones too.
Thank you, Shirley, for sharing your touching story. This is well written and your heart is obviously in it. Kristina, thank you for giving her the opportunity to share with us.
Your bows are gorgeous! When I say you on the TSUAlist chat on Tuesday and realized you were new, I clicked on your shop and took a look! Welcome and the Breast Cancer Awareness bow is beautiful!
Thank you for sharing your grandmother’s story! what a neat way to honor her legacy and carry on her namesake!
I love the GREAT bows! I’m having a problem contacting you about an ad swap…the email button is not working for some reason.
