Room to Breathe

After I left the company I was apart of I found myself drained, and that it effected me and overwhelmed me more than I thought that it had. So I took 2 weeks off from everything. From working, from blogging, and I took a break.

I needed a break.  I needed room to breathe, to come back to my center and focus on all the things that mattered.  Focus on where I might find myself next, what direction we felt was best for me, for our family, for our baby coming in November.

After taking time to let the answers find me.  Everything was clearer. That’s when we decided it was time to make my full focus on The Shop.   Most of you probably noticed the new items taking up residency on the right side bar – that is why.

Before I came to this decision though, I thought of starting a new business solutions company, juggling things like I always have – but then it hit me.  I was scattered, I felt scattered, I looked scattered, and my energy was exactly that – scattered.

I love helping small business owners get going, growing and being successful.  I love helping people with social media but why start another business? The business consulting work comes to me as it’s meant to. The social media work finds me when the time is right.  The Shop has always been my business and when it does well, it does pretty darn well – imagine what it could be if I put all of my energy into it.

Hi Kristina. I’m so glad you took that time out to really concentrate On what to truly focus on. I’m very impressed with your office space by the way ! Good luck with the shop – I just know it will be successful with you at the helm. You obviously have lots of business talents and like to be challenged, but just remember that new life growing inside you, and please don’t overdo things.
