This whole blogging thing …
…I’m slacking. I’ve been MIA, playing hookey, whatever you want to call it.
Part of me feels guilty about it – but at the same time, part of me knows a couple other things need to stay on the forefront right now. All is well though, there is nothing to be concerned about – this I promise you!
Just know, I’ll be back. This blog break is temporary. The quote of the week will still be happening so no one thinks I died. 🙂
So, if you are feeling super motivated and want to guest post, that is welcome too.
Oh, and an update – thanks for all the prayers – my grandmother is doing just fine. She got a new pacemaker put in while she was in the hospital and things are good. Even better news – the mass behind her stomach has decreased for 10″ down to 3″, which also means she gets to have 2 less chemo treatments. God is good.
My other grandma, my great grandma on my dad’s side, fell and broke her shoulder last week and will be in the hospital back in KS and will be there for 2 weeks to ensure all heals and she is taken care of but she is doing great, too.
Again, thanks for all the prayers.
And thanks for understanding this little, much needed break I am taking. 🙂 And thanks for all the comments checking in! 🙂
I will be back! 🙂
a blog is for you. And if YOU needs to step away then you should be able to do just that without feeling the least bit guilty about it!
Hey sweetie! I have learned that the blogging community is incredibly kind and forgiving. We’ll be here whenever you get back and we all understand the need to take breaks! You are where you need to be, doing what you need to be doing!
Such great news about grandmother #1, Kristina! Sorry about grandmother #2 and I hope she’s on the mend!
Such a lovely photo of your dad and great grandma. I am so glad that things are looking more positive for her but, oh my, now grandma number 2 is in hospital. I pray that she will also recover soon. It’s not good having falls when you get older like that. We quite understand that you need a blogging break right now – and rightly so! I shall look out for your quotations. Until we see you again, take care my friend.
