Pill Popper DIY

Now that I have got your attention by thinking we are pill poppers in our house, lets clarify – we aren’t, but
like most people we get headaches, deal with allergies, upset stomachs, etc. but sometimes these thing don’t happen when you are at home with the medicine bottles, and taking those bottles with … well, lets be honest, that’s insane. But I used to be the person with a bottle Excedrin Migraine (thanks to my frequent migraines), and Pamprin (thanks to being a woman) in my purse – that took up a lot of space.  Then I had a smaller bottle that used to be used for over the counter meds, filled with misc stuff too.  Like I said – too many bottles, and my purse became small quick.  SO, I came up with a solution.

At the Dollar Tree one afternoon I came across a pack of 10 plastic containers with lids, not too big, and not too small.  Perfect for a purse, bag, tote, glove box, etc.  and I had an idea.

So I went home and assembled this:

A small container of misc medications that might be needed on-the-go.  Between Excedrin Migrane, Tums, Pamprin,  Allergy Medicine, Ibuprofen, Tylenol and Aspirin for the dogs (for injuries, etc.).  and I created one for my car, Ryan’s car, my purse and my work tote.  Easy-Peasy.

Then I created a key to put in the lid, and then covered it with a piece of tap to protect it from getting discolored, etc.

Now, we are constantly prepared on the go with this small, store and go container that saves a lot of space where pill bottles used to be.

What do you use for medications on the go?
