(**Link crying aimlessly around the dark house**)
Ryan: “What is his problem?”
Me: “I’m not sure. He has been doing it lately at night. If you call him he comes. It’s weird, it’s like he is lost.”
Ryan: “Linky…. Linky….” (nothing). “You try it.”
Me: “Linka. Linka. Linka. Come here Linka.”
**Moments later he comes in hops on the bed, to find Rudy snarl and snap at him (Rudy is a defensive sleeper) Poor Link**
Me: “See! Weird! It’s like his nocturnal is broken. “
Ryan: “Do you think his nocturnal could be broken? I mean, that would be really horrible. Maybe he really can’t see in the dark”
Me: “I don’t know. Maybe. I suppose we could ask the vet next time we see him.”
Ryan: “Yep. Suppose we could. We’ll ask “Hey can a cat’s nocturnal be broken?” and see what he says.”
Me: “Yeah, and then we can see if they have something similar to Lasik for a broken nocturnal. I’m sure not.”
Ryan: “Well, if they want to try it out, I’ll give them Link and say, “here ya go try it out.””
Yep. This really happened.
You can’t make this stuff up.
In all seriousness, we were kidding about the broken nocturnal and surgery to fix it…but Link does in fact do this, nearly ever night lately. He finds us, and then runs along and doesn’t make a peep all night long.
