Life: News: A Move.

What else is going on in our little world?

Well – work.
Yay work.
I gave my notice on Thursday.
Yes, my notice to vacate my job. {It’s been a LONG time coming as most of you know!}
I also told my boss what an idiot she was to hire the other girl, and a few other things. Conversation went better than I thought it would.

Clarification: I put notice in for the local job I have. The new job I have is with a national massage company, which means I can transfer anywhere in the world and still have a job, and it’s part time.

But why the notice??

We are moving!

To where?

….Can you guess…??

Here is a few hints:

1.) State Flower is the Columbine.
2.) The United States Air Force Academy is located here.
3.) The states name means “colored red” and is known as the “Centennial State.”

Have you guessed it yet….?

…..
……….
……………
………………….

If you guessed back to Colorado you would be CORRECT!
We move July 1st!

Excited? :
Ryan – YES!
Me- It’s bitter Sweet.

I’m going to miss my dad more than anything.
Told him and Seriously cried.
Ridiculous I tell you!

We told Jamie and Brandon a few weeks ago, she has known since the thought occurred forever ago and has been updated ever since but she was the first to officially know. She took it well. Today we chatted on the phone a bit and she was so bummed she had no day off this week. I proceeded to tell her, it was alright. Then she replied with “I just feel like time is running out.” That broke my heart. Seriously.

We told the our friends last week. They took it quite well… actually very well. So that was good. Katy said they might try to come out around Christmas time, and bring out the baby. I would love to say I’ll make it back for that – but I can’t make any promises. But I’ll be attempting to be here!! If nothing I’ll skype in.

As for the rest of the family – they don’t know yet. We are telling them this week.

So – I’ve been house hunting to rent.
Much luck. Nope. Not Yet.
BUT.
It will happen.
🙂
Darn scams though! Seriously. Ridiculous. Out of 12 e-mails I sent out for houses
at least 7 of them came back from the “owners” saying they are in Nigeria (UK, Africa, Poland, etc. etc. etc. etc.) and to fill out the application and we would arrange for keys and lease to be mail. Um…Not.

Seems like most places are scams, too expensive or already rented. But, I do know we will find something.
Soon.
Patience is a lesson I’m learning here, I think.

As for being away from everyone – I’m going thank technology – I think between Skyping, shutterfly sites, etc. the move won’t be so hard. I’ll be able to see everyone via technology which will make life easier, make me miss them atleast a little less.
(and no. we won’t be going back to facebook to get reconnected to the world!. Not. Happening.)
