But, since I have been away from the internet for a few days, I had to catch up and visit all of my favorite blogs and read up! I’m back now!
It was fabulous, and to be quite honest, this visit concreted that Colorado is in fact where we would like to be. It was absolutely fabulous, there is a different energy there in Colorado surrounding life, our life and I think there is a different energy coming from us as well. We have been bantering lately about if Colorado is the right move. Afterall, we have only been in Kansas for not even a year. It will be about a year once we move, but I don’t think that is something we can really worry about, we did something that most don’t. See which life worked better for us. We didn’t sit and wonder if we would love where I grew up more than Colorado more, or if we liked that lifestyle better – we have lived it. We gave it a chance, and we know that Colorado is where our hearts are. Colorado is where we would like to spend our days, discovering the mountains and their beauty on days where we have nothing more to do. Spending the days without the humidity of the brutal summers where we can open our windows wide up and soak up the fresh air and the average of 300 days beautiful sun a year! The weather was warm, and we got to enjoy some family time which was lovely! Friday night we spent the evening with Ryan’s family meeting Heather (my sister in law)’s new boyfriend at dinner. A little quiet (with time I think he will open up!) but very nice fellow, and she seems happy which is most important. Saturday we went and got our wedding rings cleaned which was a good feeling. I am in love with having a clean ring on my hand, and after all of the tips of ring cleaning that I have received by other jewelry companies I have found two of the greatest cleaning tips: windex as a cleaner and using a jewelry steam cleaner! I am going to end up going and buying one of these nifty things!! 🙂 We then spent the evening with my family. Sunday morning, we ate breakfast with the grandparents which was a nice then it was off to Ryan’s parents for lunch – then off to the wedding that evening! That wedding was phenomenal. I loved it, in fact, it was so lovely and moving – I am saving it for a different post! 😉
