I have recently started going a little more “public” for my blog, and have been more open about posting my blog online to sites I’m apart of etc. I am planning on starting a new series of having guest interviews of fellow bloggers in the blog world that would like more traffic coming to their sites, as well, and all interviewee’s maybe be presented an opportunity to do some guest posting to my blog!! All you have to do is, publicly follow my blog & participate in conversation, commenting, etc. and I will of course return the favor, and of course, if you are interested – let me know – preferrably via email!
To kick off this new series, here is a short interview of about myself! 🙂
Describe Yourself in 5 Words: passionate, goal-oriented, genuine, wife, friend.
Favorite Song: Tough one but right now probably Hello World by Lady Antebellum
If you could trade places with any person for a week, famous or not famous, living or dead, real or fictional, with whom would it be? Probably Mary Kay Ash, a phenomenal woman in general (life, family& business!)
Why are manhole cover round? Probably to to accommodate a wide variety of people (shapes and sizes) that may be coming in and out of them.
Favorite Tree: The Aspen – their roots connect and support one another – how awesome is that?
Why did you start blogging? Well, I’ve been blogging since 2007, and decided it would be a good idea to start for fun and give me something to do. I started it, have had some starts and stops along the way but I LOVE it! Gives me my own little get away!
If you travel to one place where would it be? Australia! I have always wanted to go there!
A weird fact about you: I only wear black socks & black or brown shoes!
Proudest Moment: When I discovered what I’m genuinely passionate about!
If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake? I think it comes down to 2 things: pride and others. Pride: Maybe if we make the mistake we will look dumb. Others: Maybe my mistake will hurt those around me.
Have you been the kind of friend you want as a friend?I am not the perfect friend, but I’m loyal, I’m honest, trustworthy, and I listen. I remember the little things like birthdays and anniversaries. I take the time to touch base even if I’m crazy busy. That’s what I expect out of a friend, so yeah, I think so, or I at least strive to be.
Words of Wisdom: Do what you love and love what you do!
